Why is Yoga perfect for me? If you are like most of us living in modern day society, life moves fast often with deadlines and demands brought on by family, job, and the constant rat race to keep up with it all. This leads to a chronically stressed state of being that jeopardizes the health of an otherwise happy, healthy, naturally creative, resourceful, and whole person. The body has a profound ability to heal itself and return to balance and homeostasis if and when allowed. However, it is rare that we take time out of our busy lives to listen to our bodies and slow down! This results in a compromised immune system, injury, and/or illness and a less than happy state of mind. Most of us know this but we don’t do anything to change until it is “too late”. 

The further from balance we allow ourselves to drift, the more illness including low back pain, ulcers, high blood pressure (hypertension), and depression may result. Fortunately, in most cases we can break the cycle and restore our health.

Essential Oil Education

What Are Essential Oils?

Essential Oils are organic compounds extracted from plants with properties to assist in improving physical, mental and emotional health.

Essential oils are highly aromatic and highly concentrated. Most oils are distilled (most frequently by steam or water) from the leaves, needles, stems, flowers, bark, roots, or other highly aromatic plant parts. While most essential oils are water or hydro distilled, citrus essential oils are either cold pressed or steam distilled from the rinds (peels) of citrus fruits. Essential oils are highly concentrated, and a little can go a long way. Although they are natural,they are still chemical compounds.  Therefore it is very important to learn about and respect essential oil safety. Essential oils are highly beneficial and effective when used carefully and with realistic expectations. However, improper use of essential oils can be harmful. If you are interested in learning more about oils, call to schedule a one on one or a DIY class for you and a few friends.  

Electronic Nutrition Analysis

Electronic Nutrition Analysis Combines state of the art technology with science similar to that of a fitness tracker to generate an overall wellness report to bring the body back to a balanced state. The scan suggests essential oils and supplements to work with your unique structure to bring a state of homeostasis within the body. It is recommended to follow the suggestions given for 3 months with a follow-up on the 4th month.

How It Works

BIOIMPEDANCE
During the scan passes small electrical currents through the skin to measure the body’s resistance. These unique frequencies are sent to the body through the scanner. Each supplement has a natural energy frequency, which is easily recognized by the body. The passing of frequencies then induces a measurable response from the body.

THE BODY’S RESPONSE
Bioimpedance relies on the body’s autonomic nervous system in order to elicit reactions. The autonomic nervous system is the body’s central command system, connected to every other part of the body and can, therefore, be relied upon to give us reactionary results. There are lots of ways to measure those results (i.e. blood pressure, blood flow, skin or body temperature, breathing patterns, eye dilation, sweat glands/skin moisture, etc.) One particular way to measure the reaction is the tissue will become more or less resistant to electrical current flow. Changes in temperature can also help us understand how the body reacted. During an i scan hundreds of frequencies are sent to the body, one at a time. The body has a unique reaction to each of these frequencies. As the body reacts to the electrical current flow, measures these reactions.

ALGORITHM
The way the scanner calculates the body’s reaction is highly accurate. It uses a complex algorithm to organize the data from the reactions. An algorithm is simply a set of mathematical equations. This process is often referred to as the translation process. The scanner algorithm translates what your body is communicating to you. While running one scan, the scanner is actually running the algorithm several times to find the body’s true response.

REPORT
As the scan runs, your body will naturally react to these foreign frequencies and the scanner will record these changes, identifying them as unresolved biopoints. Biopoints are simply parts of the body, such as organs, vertebrae, or other biological systems. If a recorded frequency falls outside a predetermined range, it is classified as “unresolved”. Please note, a high number of unresolved biopoints is not an indication of poor health. As the scan ends, the number of unresolved biopoints are recorded, analyzed, and compiled into a personalized report. Based on the information gathered during each session, the electronic app will recommend the essential oils or supplements to which your body had the best reactionary response. These recommendations are presented in your report, ordering each product by the number of unresolved biopoints. Using the recommended oil or supplement will then help reduce that frequency to fall within that particular range, bringing your body and its frequencies back to its optimal state known as homeostasis.
